My favourite part of my body are my laugh lines

Day two of my daily blogging regime, and I'm already despairing. What the fucking blazes made me come up with such ridiculously over-harsh medication for my blog-clog? I ask you. What a total dork. I have nothing to say, and what's more, I don't want to say anything.

I don't want to say anything. I wonder why.

I'm pretty sure we've done the "I have nothing to say and I am saying it and that is poetry" (John Cage)

but have we done the 14 variations?

I have to say poetry and is that nothing and am I saying it
I am and I have poetry to say and is that nothing saying it
I am nothing and I have poetry to say and that is saying it
I that am saying poetry have nothing and it is I and to say
And I say that I am to have poetry and saying it is nothing
I am poetry and nothing and saying it is to say that I have
To have nothing is poetry and I am saying that and I say it
Poetry is saying I have nothing and I am to say that and it
Saying nothing I am poetry and I have to say that and it is
It is and I am and I have poetry saying say that to nothing
It is saying poetry to nothing and I say I have and am that
Poetry is saying I have it and I am nothing and to say that
And that nothing is poetry I am saying and I have to say it
Saying poetry is nothing and to that I say I am and have it

Edwin Morgan, I think.

I bet you're really glad to posted this now.

Bits of this (I think it's called "Opening the Cage") always pop into my mind especially in the context of blogging. "And that nothing is poetry I am saying and I have to say it".

Don't forget that people really do want to read what you say, even if it seems like nothing to you.

Looking forward to reading more.

Okay, Signs - that is amazing. Yes, now I am glad I posted this, you're right.

And sweet Lottie, hei (and incidentally, how come you both know all this cool funky poetry and here's dumbo foreigner me not knowing shit? Wait. Maybe that's answering my question, actually, not asking it), and oh-my-God no, it would never feel like nothing to me that you would want to read my nothing(s). Although my nothing(s) will never quite reach the heights of Mr Morgan's nothing(s), I fear -"The not quite nothing I praise it and I write it" - how shatteringly scary-lovely is that? (Yes, I went and did some quick research. Why are there so many things I should (have) read that I don't even know about?)

Love to you both - I must to the sauna. I'll return, empty-handed, to write today's episode of - nothing.

"What the blazes" is a great expression, which I'd all but forgotten about. I vow to use it at the earliest opportunity.

Lottie, feel most free to blaze your way around HK. In fact, I hope you've found both opportunity and cause by now.

That's a fine pop song, by the way. You're really knowledgable in that field (as well as many others).
