…I just had to get this off my chest. Sorry. Better here than in your face, no?)

Okay so. Not like this:

"So what are you depressed about?"

because being depressed is not about something at all. You can be sad, happy, upset, pissed-off, fucking furious, embarrassed, ashamed (to name but a few) about something – but not depressed. If it's about something, it isn't depressed. It's something else then.

But like this:


"So how are you depressed?"

Aye, there's the rub; now we're talking; now the question becomes one that can be answered.

(No, nevermind, it's okay, it's fine, we're still friends, this poorly formulated question of yours hasn't changed that…
