Another figurine

Reading the Signs writes today about a figurine. I was effected both by the image and what she writes, to the point of being almost startled. I don't know why.

Anyway, I have been meaning to show you this, my favourite necklace. Signs' post brought it to mind, although I haven't much to say about mine except that I love it, it feels warm when worn, and wearing it makes me feel safe. I wore it a lot when I lived in Hawai'i.

You were startled? Me too, I can tell you.

What a lovely-looking necklace. Can't quite make the figure out, but can feel the good vibe.

(should point out, though, that the WVLs are saying rudeol)

You can't make out the figure, Signs? It's the Venus of Willendorf (click on my link, please, for what wiki has to say on the matter). In Hawai'i, where people are admittedly more talkative than over here, I had various strangers stop me to ask about her. When I told them what she was, I had at least one person think I meant the original. In retrospect, I think I should have allowed her to go on thinking that European women quite casually wore necklaces 20,000 years old. Rude-ol' things that they are.
