Another non-commercial commercial break (it's been a while since the last one)

My friends Rebecca Clamp and huzzporter have joined forces to bring you a song (by Rebecca) about St. Wilgefortis, bearing her name, complete with an animated video (by huzz).

Come to think of it...why don't you watch this one, too - Rebecca's song Space Girl. I wish to claim my fifteen minutes of fame by letting slip I was her wardrobe/hairstyle/makeup/set assistant during the shooting. And I used to fit into the white dress she is seen dancing in.

Now then, Merkin, don't you be getting so loquacious, leave some space for others to say something too, won't you?

Ms Pants, I know you as a music world woman so am particularly glad that you'd like these. Rebecca is a close friend of mine but that doesn't, in my view, make me biased - I think she is quite genuinely brilliant.

xxx to you, too

hey anna, i love St. Wilgefortis song, funny & shocking - i think i said this before (a long time ago).

spacegirl makes me cry in recognition even though i don't fully understand the emotions of the song/video first time, i will listen again.

Hei NMJ pet, I really like Space Girl, although Rebecca herself finds it really depressing and doesn't care to sing it at gigs very often. I generally shout out a request for it all the same. I'm like that...

(PS don't forget her record is available in Britain...click on the link on her name, it'll take you to her record company's page on her)

xx

Good stuff. Lovely. I wonder if I would like them as much without the visual input. I think perhaps yes with the St. Wilgefortis.

Right. Well. I wrote a reply to you here, sweet Signs, suggesting you click on the link to her record page and find there a link to her myspace account, where you can listen to a few other songs, which might help you make up your mind (no videos). However, my comment (my comment, on my site!) just disappeared after posting.

Excuse me, jinxes and leprechauns, I will NOT be plagued in my own house, and that's that. Come on then, if you think you're hard enough. You're going home in a f*cking ambulance.

Um, sorry about that brief interlude there with the net beasties, Signs. Lovely to have you here.
