Those are warming words, Anna Mr - and I'm sure you can use the mittens with your plummeting temperatures in Finland - we are such wimps here, complaining & traumatised afer a few flakes of snow . . .
Hey hun, I love the mittens big style, my mum knitted them for my gran and then couldn't throw them away after she'd died (which is 24 years ago this year, so they are actually probably considered museum pieces now!). Having thrown/given away all my possessions to go to Hawai'i, I have now had to root around for all the basic necessities like woolly socks&mittens and the like, and am so delighted that this particular pair turned up from my mum's never-ending cupboards. Wearing them makes me feel like I am holding hands with both of them...
'holding hands with both of them'...such a lovely image.it gives me a shiver.
