Heights

Every time I go on my balcony, I think of jumping. It's what being above tree tops does to me. I don't have a death wish, it's just how easy it would be that bothers my mind.

I see you have opted for concision, Anna. That is good.

I can see a day in the distant future when someone clicks on the "weird thoughts" label and a long list appears, bouncing across the treetops.

(Don't jump.)

Kurt, I wouldn't dream of it.

My feet always tingle when I'm high up, just as you say - jumping would be so easy, and it's quite terrifying to know this.

Indeed - there's a "go on and find out what it'd be like" feeling about it.

Oh good, you have it too. I could never live in a high-rise building. I just can't help thinking about what it would all feel like. I don't think I've ever been near a height without the sensation.

I run an ongoing evil human experiment at my flat - forcing my friends onto the balcony to see whether they dare to or not. To step onto it, not jump. There is someone who couldn't actually even go on the doormat.
