Foxy girls

animalia
The fur trade is an aspect of my native country I have great difficulty accepting. These activists do, too, as they are staging a demonstration outside Kiasma, the museum of contemporary arts. The girl on the right is sitting inside a fox cage - I believe they are taking turns in living in it for a week. Members of the public are invited to try out a fox's life, too. I didn't.

That's a nice blog title, Anna. The woman who cuts my hair (she's from Ukraine when it was part of the USSR) is on a cruise on the Baltic now. I hope Helsinki has not dried up, for both your sakes...

Thanks, Kurt. Still no rain, although it is cloudy today, so perhaps there's hope. Thick smoke again yesterday, apparently all the way to the Western coast of Finland...I'm just waiting for the world to catch fire.
